I have always enjoyed photography. I dabbled with it the film days and when the digital revolution happened, I readily jumped onboard. Once I got my first DSLR back in 2009, I was hooked on photography. My favorite subjects are located in my home state of North Carolina, particularly the Linville Gorge and surrounding area. However when I do travel, my camera and I find interesting subjects to make a photograph of. As long as my camera is with me I am happy wherever that may be. Contemplating one day after shooting on the long drive home, I got to thinking about what is it that I so love about photography.
